Branding
The panel's name and logo
using StellarAdmin.Sidebar;
admin.ConfigureBranding(branding =>
{
branding.Title = "Voyager Travel";
branding.Subtitle = "Admin";
branding.Logo = BrandingLogo.Icon("compass");
});| Property | Default |
|---|---|
Title | Your app's name, made readable: Voyager.Admin becomes "Voyager Admin". |
Subtitle | None. A second line under the title. |
Logo | None. The title shows on its own. |
Href | The panel's home page. |
The title is also used in the browser tab, like "Bookings - Voyager Travel".
Logos
There are three kinds of logo:
| Logo | Looks like |
|---|---|
BrandingLogo.Icon("compass") | An icon in a coloured tile, beside the title. |
BrandingLogo.Image("~/img/logo.svg") | A square image beside the title. |
BrandingLogo.Wordmark("~/img/wordmark.svg") | An image that replaces the title and subtitle. The title becomes its alt text. |
Image and Wordmark take a second path for dark mode:
branding.Logo = BrandingLogo.Wordmark("~/img/wordmark.svg", "~/img/wordmark-dark.svg");A wordmark is centred, and as tall as the two lines of text it replaces. Pass a WordmarkLayout to change that: Start lines it up with the menu items, and Fill stretches it across the sidebar, which suits a wide logo that looks small otherwise.
branding.Logo = BrandingLogo.Wordmark("~/img/wordmark.svg", WordmarkLayout.Fill);A wordmark doesn't show the subtitle.
Your own header
For a header the settings can't describe, add Areas/StellarAdmin/Views/Shared/_SidebarBrand.cshtml to your app. It replaces the panel's, and gets a SidebarBrandModel with the Title, Subtitle, Logo and Href. It needs the view imports.
